Lateral Muscle Exercises
Having well-conditioned lateral muscles or lats can greatly help to improve your posture, so it’s very important to give this group of muscles on your back a workout. Exercising this muscle group is good for people who have mild scoliosis and those who often complain of lower back pains.
For the lateral muscles
1. Lie flat on your back and position the roller on your lower back near the side arm. Stretch out your arm on the side that you want to exercise. Then, begin gently to roll up and down to relax the muscles in that area.
2. Repeat this exercise slowly as many times as you want. Keep your arm on the side that you’re exercising stretched out while doing this exercise.
