A hamstring strain is one of the most painful and common types of injuries that athletes can suffer. This usually happens when the hamstring muscles are stretched too far. This foam roller exercise will help ease the pain of a hamstring strain.
For the hamstring
1. Lie on the floor perpendicular to your body. Put the foam roller on the area below your knee and near the hamstring area. Stretch both of your arms backwards for support. Then, gently begin rolling the foam roller back and forth on the hamstring area.
2. Emphasize on the part where there is muscle tightness and pain. Repeat on the other leg if necessary.
