Pain in the gluteus area can be very uncomfortable to deal with. It’s usually caused by muscle tightness, poor running technique and even poor posture. Try this exercise to see if it helps alleviate the pain brought about by this problem.
For the gluteus
1. Lie on your side with one part of your lateral gluteus resting on the foam roller. Use your hand on the same side to balance your body. Cross your leg on the side where the foam roller rests and hold it with your other hand. Then, begin doing short rolls back and forth.
2. It is advised to do this for approximately 2 minutes for one side. Then, repeat doing it on the other side.
